It appears that the GearsApp is back up and running. Due to the Steam community being down for maitenance I am unable to view my profile but I am allowed to log in finally so Ill boost my rating to 3. Once Im logged in itll be 4 and if a real log in system and chat are implimented I will reward a 5!
Awesome update! The new version is much faster and fixes the broken issues. This a great app! I can finally see what my Steam friends are up to when I am away from my computer. Its about time too. I highly recommend it!
Says what it claims to do. Just add achievements and groups, and this is a 5-star app
Its a good app but it took me a while to login and can you let us atleast send messages to our friends
Some bad moments
Gears worked fine for a year and now all of a sudden it quit. I reinstalled/rebooted and I get an invalid user Id when trying to log in.
Both sites are down and it doesnt load my account when I put in my id. Dont make the mistake i did by buying this.
Got this hopping I could check my stats on the go, but it wouldnt let me log in. Also, a couple days after I got and tried to log in, my account got hacked...Im still a little skeptical...
Doesnt work something changed in steam and this app is obsolete!!! I need to tell apple they are selling an app that doesnt work!
I got in contacted with the developer. He said hes been slowed by the new Steam UI and other things but he will update soon.
First off, your account CANNOT be hacked due to this. All it does is display info on the steam community website using your profiles URL. No account info is given.
I got this app about two months ago. It didnt work then and it still doesnt. WTF...
